A cell phone is a boon to mankind. It has made communication easier and the world smaller. Today, if millions of people are connected with one another, it is thanks to cell phones.
But the biggest problem is that it is very easy to lose a cell phone. Their small size makes them rather inconspicuous, and so misplacing a cell phone is not unnatural. You will be amazed to know that according to a finding, 25 percent of mobiles all over the globe either get lost or stolen. This staggering statistic is a clear indication to how vulnerable your mobile is to getting misplaced or stolen.
How Cell Phones are lost
Cell phones or mobiles are also very easy preys to thieves, pickpockets and robbers. Stealing a mobile is as easy as (if not easier than) stealing any other accessory. But whether you lose your mobile or it gets stolen, the consequences are all the same (which is bad!). There are various complications that can arise if you lose your mobile. It is not just the cell you have lost; you have also invited other potent risks onto yourself. One of the risks may include your mobile being used for illegal activities.
May not sound like a good example but a terrorist organization may use your cell phone. So, if an intelligence agency were to investigate such terrorist operations, they would invariably obtain the cell phones and the numbers that were used in the operations. If your cell phone came under scrutiny during investigation, you would be in hot soup mind you!
Thus preventing your cell phone from getting lost or getting stolen is very important. However, that is easier said than done. You can lose your cell phone in a crowded bus, at office, in your dormitory or in any other place. But when you do lose your cell phone, you must not delay in taking some necessary steps.
